This photo book documents the stories of 20 inhabitants of a static van site on the coast of Folkestone/Dover and how they came to live on the site.

Some residents have been affected by losing income from the goverment for being single parents; forcing them to move out of mortgaged houses and start a new life in a static van.

As the vans are exempt from council tax, residents are not allowed to stay in the vans year-round and must live elsewhere each January (which can be fortunate, due to the recent winter storms which decimate these homes regularly).
